Capital of taste

Turin is an undisputed capital of taste. It is distinguished for its innate passion for good food and drink. Historic restaurants and cafes or suburban trattorias are the temples of Turin cuisine where it is possible to enjoy from the Vermouth-based pre-dinner drink to the numerous starters of Piedmont, from agnolotti to fritto misto, from the cheeses to Gianduja cream, from zabaione to the “bicerin”.
The purchasing opportunities are varied and distributed throughout the province, but they all come together in Eataly, the famous mega-store which has spread the culture of the wine-and-food of Piedmont worldwide.
The title of capital of taste is further consolidated by the hospitality offered by Turin at two international events, Salone del Gusto and Terra Madre.
