Parco del Gran Paradiso
The Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso is the foremost Italian national park. In the province of Turin, it can be reached from two valleys, cut by the same name rivers, in Val Soana from Ronco Canavese, in valle dell’Orco from Ceresole Reale. In each season the Park offers different landscapes: late spring and summer are the months of flowering and excursions at a high altitude. In autumn the woods become coloured, while the love season begins for the goat-antelopes. In winter the snow-capped territory lends itself to walks with snow poles, cross-country skiing and mountaineering, with the opportunity to catch sight of animals in their beautiful winter coats.
